The future of PFAS and POP destruction

Cavitation Bubbles
Where the magic happens
Application of ultrasound to water or other liquids, forms cavitation bubbles that undergo super-fast cycles of compression and expansion. These cycles are tens of thousands (even millions) of times per second.
The cycles cause the bubbles to grow until they are unstable and then violently collapse. The collapse events result in temperatures hotter than the sun’s surface and pressures thousands of times higher than our atmosphere. Small, localised plasma pockets are created that can destroy PFAS, without the same, highly polluting, toxic gases created by incineration.

Following years of research at the University of Surrey (UK), Mantisonix has developed a technology, capable of complete, efficient, and sustainable destruction of PFAS and POPs.
Unique Selling Points
☑ Complete Destruction
The intense collapse of cavitation bubbles completely breaks down pollutants into safe, naturally occurring compounds.
☑ Ambient Condition
Our technology operates at ambient temperature and pressure, eliminating the need for costly equipment while reducing both CapEx and OpEx.
☑ No Catalyst or Additives
Our technology operates without the need for catalysts or chemicals, significantly reducing OpEx.
☑ Insensitive to Co-contaminants
The need for no catalysts or chemicals, ensures robustness against co-contaminants, making the process an all-in-one solution for highly contaminated waste streams.
☑ Sealed Closed-Loop System
Mantisonix’s technology operates within a sealed, closed-loop system, eliminating atmospheric emissions.
☑ Modularity
Mantisonix’s design features modularity, enabling seamless scalability and operational flexibility for efficient adaptation.
☑ Green Technology
Our technology operates solely on electricity, which can be sourced from renewables, supporting Net Zero goals.

Mantisonix’s
Carbon Reduction Plan
We are committed to implementing our technology with minimal carbon emissions and have a target of net zero scope 1 emissions in our first report, and net zero scope 2&3 emissions by 2040 and 2050, respectively.
